Gosh, next thing we'll be reading about the time Starr told his Kindergarten teacher that the dog ate his homework when really he played outdoors too late and didn't do it. Certainly a lie every bit as worthy of prosecution as any lies Clinton told.

I've had more than one defendant urge me to defend him by attacking the prosecutor or the judge, urging me to defend him by trying to persuade the jury that he shouldn't be punished because what he did was no worse than what these people prosecuting him have done. I've never done it, never will do it.

That a lawyer and President would stoop to the level of criminals and take the attitude "well, if I'm going down, I'm going to destroy as much of the country as I can on the way" is perhaps even sadder than the things he did with a virtual child.

Clinton is truly a sick man. Quite frankly, if I were defending him I would have to go with a temporary insanity defense.
