Thanks much, WONG. All the jawing taking place around the globe, (except in the land of der wunderkinds:) appears to have many hoping that circumstances have somehow made a miraculous about-face. False hopes. Distressful numbers are everywhere.

Fleckenstein (see Mike's post) pounds my soar spot very frequently in his daily Market Wrap. Of course, it is a theme that bankers should broadcast throughout business hours: "Money for nothin'...."
