This is a very difficult question for which I have no answer, yet. My first thought is that it may in some ways be like the free market. It works well until someone obtains such a monopoly position and control over its "Free" operation that it no longer serves us except that we are for all practical purposes free to be slaves. Just brainstorming with incomplete thoughts. There may be some other limiting conditions, I'm not sure. Do you think this may be a useful line of thought to explore?
