So you want to learn Sanskrit,well it is not all that difficult if you put your mind to it irrespective of where you are or you can come to Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit in Kaladi,Kerala and spend a year.BTW Kaladi in Kerala is the birth place of Adi Sankara (788-820 A.D) and hence the name of the University.I have been to Kaladi and it is green and beautiful I must say.

Sankaracharya was born towards the end of the eighth century A.D., at Kaladi, a village in Central Kerala. He was the only son of a devout Nambudiri Brahmin couple, Sivaguru and Aryamba.
