First you privately threaten me, that I should never again enter your universe, or comment about you publicly ever again. I accede, since you really scared me, but here you instigate something again. Why your obsession with me, Mr. DART? Is it because I so squarely and honestly hit you where you lived with my diagnoses of your emotional shortcomings? Or my suggestions that you seek therapy, and/or medication? You've supposedly had training in a multitude of curriculums, calling yourself, variously, a research methodologist, a research scientist, a psychologist, a PHD, what else? Ever heard of 'physician, heal thyself'? Perhaps it appropriate in your case.
Sure, you can appear to win by constantly asking for specifics about every obvious statement anyone makes. But it isn't necessary, as all can see you for what you are; namely, a pathetic, lonely man, who needs to enter a world where he can attempt to bedazzle everyone with his intellect, as a way of overcoming a deep self hatred. You annoint yourself the savior of SI, with statements like, amongst others,

Mr. DART, since you are so fond of getting answers to questions you ask, please permit me to ask you one. Tell me, who appointed you the head cheese at SI, responsible for improving its discourse? Funny, I haven't seen you announced as 'Director of Quality Discourse' yet. You create numerous threads, where you want to discuss this other obsession of yours, and when all do not flock to you, you move around SI, asking others to come to your threads, and endlessly posting the same links wherever you go. Still, no one wants to enter your world of elitist attitudes, and, instead of taking the hint, you find the conflict you so desperately need wherever you can find it. Funny, thousands of SI members have seemed very happy with the discourse here, long before you flew in on your cape, intent on saving us from ourselves. Jeez, if you have a God complex , take it to the religious threads. Just don't bring a Jeff Dryer complaint to one of those, as that is OFF TOPIC, one of your favorite complaints to others, and was, as you know, how our little love affair began.
Then, to Peter, (post #80), Care to go on a little journey? I'll go with you, if you like.
Have you seen ANY evidence, anywhere, that people wish to go on any journeys with you? Perhaps YOU have no life, and enjoy endless debate, but I dare say most of the participants on SI have neither the time , nor the inclination to go on your little journeys. I think it was Peter, also who, after you prodded him to analyze a strategy he developed further than he wished, said to you, and I'm paraphrasing here, "...can't see that I would want to.." Gee Mr. DART, there MUST be some online communities for you and your kind, where you can debate to your heart's content with like minded individuals. Do you not go there, because you will be more on an equal footing with them, and perhaps may meet your match?
Frankly, this thread you started here was actually a welcome one from you, as you hit on a subject dear to my own heart, but you just couldn't keep the 'discourse' mature. Instead of just ignoring posts you consider inappropriate or off-topic, you have a need to invite conflict, despite your statements to the contrary. Most mature people ignore such posts, feeling, appropriately, that those posts will fall of their own weight, and with them, their authors' credibility. If you are so confident of your position, why can't you do the same, and trust your like thinking brethren to see the same? Because you can't, and we both know why. You MUST have what you consider the upper hand, and the attendant conflict. Unfortunately, in your obsessive desire to convince yourself to like yourself, you fail to see the forest for the trees. If you came down to earth occasionally, you might just see how needy you are, and take some steps to make some changes.
Perhaps you should take some of your own advice, and control YOUR anger, not to mention you enormous ego. And remember, I made a pledge to someone, in another thread, not to post again in that thread regarding our little tango. I kept that promise, despite your continued attempts to bait me into doing so. And, since your threats to me, I have also not posted to you or about you. It could have stayed that way, but, as I predicted in my last private post to you, you would start it up again. It must be difficult to look in the mirror, knowing you weren't up to the challenge, once again. But then, you already knew you weren't, didn't you? You did give it a valiant try, so I applaud you for that, even though your vacation must have helped you cope. Since returning, I see, you haven't failed to post daily, so I guess you've got your rhythm back.
I guess you will now commence, as you said in your last private message to me, to "...make (my) life so utterly miserable that (I) will have to get a life..." I'm sure you will correct me if I have paraphrased it incorrectly.
