Thought some of us who are long in this stock would appreciate the following : COLUMBUS, Ind., Sept 15 (Reuters) Discussions with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency are continuing with Cummins and other diesel engine manufacturers about the level of nitrogen oxide emissions under certain driving conditions. The company reiterated earlier statements that it believes it is in full compliance with all EPA emission standards and is working closely with the agency to improve standards. It hopes an amicable solution can be reached, but said resolution of the matter could have a material adverse effect on Cummins' future financial results.
