Mike:

Yup you hit the nail on the head. I could not help note the
similarity in the patterns as well. However LSI could still have
business pick up in Sept independently of DPMI's business woes
in September (since LSI does not have to do any new designs per se -
they just have to have customers who can sell...) [I go pendulum
style from thinking things are getting better to the next week thinking that things are in the toilet then back to things are getting better, then back to the toilet... <g>]

Nevertheless your point about "supporting LSI" is interesting. Do you
really think that was why they built the plant in Gresham?

I actually am pretty contented (even with a 50% loss). Because "eventually" it will come back and life will be good. I tend to
segregate the stocks I have into different time categories and risk
categories. LSI is a long term acceptable risk play on what will be a very good long term trend. I also have decided that accumulation will be over at least 18 months or so. So actually in a warped way (assuming I have cash and can stop salivating like a dog in heat from the opportunities in the non-tech & tech micro and small caps for an instant <g>) this is a good time for me and my LSI stock!

Will be selling starting around mid 2001 I think I said. Though if
we get no upside in 1999 then I will push it back one more year.

I think people who think LSI will go up big time tomorrow or soon are
mistaken <g>. (Now watch it take off.)

Shane (I've known Home Depot and Sir LSI you ain't no Home Depot <g>)
