Scumbria,

< All Americans are protected against "unreasonable search and seizure." No to mention entrapment. >

This has nothing to do with this case.

<I believe that the Starr's investigation had strayed into territory which was a clear violation of the principles laid out in the Constitution.>

Huh?? Starr's job was to investigate possible criminal activities. Perjury falls squarely under this assignment. Granted this wasn't an initial target of the investigation but in the course of things, Clinton made it unavoidable.

<Do you think that Reagan and Bush lied about Iran-Contra under oath?>

Doesn't matter what I think, just like it doesn't matter what you think about this case. This is not an opinion poll. Cases like these are resolved based on evidence. Can you provide a shred of evidence that Reagan or Bush lied under oath?? If you can, you will be the topic of international headlines.

Congress will not be able to come to any conclusion other than Clinton committed perjury (probably witness tampering as well, but perjury definitely). Although many Americans may not think perjury is serious enough to warrant impeachment, the Congress fully understands the seriousness of the offense.
