SB, For what little it is worth, I have to concur -- no change at the next meeting (there are a number of reasons, not the least of which are pride and giving the appearance of being in control -- lowering rates at this time would be "unseemly.") However, I see a strong likelihood of a rate reduction (25 basis points? maybe 50) at the following FOMC meeting. Nancy's insights into this should prove interesting. RB
