Watch Lists: They are just lists. On some days 25% of them will be up fabulously and 25% could be down with the other 50% somewhere in the middle, but not fabulous. If I bought just the stocks on my watch list that were up 15% or more every day I'd be a millionaire in one month. I call the ones I buy as I buy them or at least as closely as possible, and not just at the end of the day. yes, we had very good calls these last 6-8 weeks. I did not get GPCI today or INTV or grab "CMGI" at the low of the day. I hope some of you did.

Most of you see the progression of the stock (only a few more small caps that I don't post because subscribers are only privy to them)... It would be easy to tout astronomical gains on the basis of the watch list results themselves and I've seen services, traders, do that. I've read gains up to 44% and other such ridiculous overstatements.

I could pick out the top gainers of the day, add them up and walla I have 53% gain.. That is not honest and not the way we run Market Gems. When we do our press releases they will be honest. Only trades that were actually mentioned or picked up. I got a newsletter today that mentioned 35% gain this year... The same newsletter that called a massive selloff of the whole portfolio the day of the great fall a while back. One guy sent me a list of the compounded percent he made this month. Even if he wrote the dates, all he needed was the historical quotes of that stock for that time period... It went something like this: DELL 28% AOL 80% MSPG 110%.. really?

We get into less than excellent trades, and we don't always sell or buy at the right time. And yes, I miss some great trades on my own watch list because of many distractions, other trades or just because....

I don't 'tout' the results of the watch lists, the results speak for themselves. We've had 6 weeks of good trades through the bear market and I'm confident we will continue to do good, without claims that are impossible to substantiate. We don't buy penny stocks that will make 50% gains in 1 week. We don't buy COMS just at the right time and hold exactly till the trend fizzles... What we do is call trades intraday as they are coming into range.. We do the best we can without pumping up our gains..

After reading my e-mail this evening I just needed to say this..
