To my friend - "The Financier". your very excellent response to my prior post just substantiates what i was trying to say about "lurkers" in my prior post. you are EXACTLY the kind of person that we need on this board to post more often!! it's a trite cliche', but "a mind really is a terrible thing to waste"!! to answer your question - i canNOT "pick" a "good" stock any better then you (or anyone else) can. i probably canNOT even "pick" a "good" stock AS WELL as you (or anyone else) can!! that is precisely the point that i was trying to make in my prior post about "lurkers"!! that is exactly why we need a large (very large) VARIETY of ideas - comments - thoughts - and opinions - on this board from a large (very large) DIVERSE set of people!! WE NEED YOU AS MUCH AS YOU NEED US!! any fool can simply buy and sell stocks in the stock market - and probably lose a lot of money doing so!! it takes a TEAM of dedicated - intelligent - knowledgeable - people communicating - COMMUNICATING!! - with each other to really make any "serious" money in the stock market!! that is all that i am trying to do. i am simply trying to get all of the "lurkers" to start to talk to all of us - to become an active member of the "team"!! my friend, no one has to say anything "brilliant" on this board, but you do have to say SOMETHING!! a "healthy" stock board is a stock board that is used - A LOT!! - by a "wide-range" of people. if a stock board is only used by the same people over and over again, then those people simply start to say the same things to each other over and over again. they simply say the same things only in a different way. take care, my friend.
