There's an article at CNN Interactive's web site
titled, "Apple lovers, unite: The Mac is back."
<http://cnn.com/TECH/computing/9809/16/macisback.idg/index.html>

Macs have long been known for their ease of use
and elegant simplicity. The current operating
system, Mac OS8.1, is generally considered more
user-friendly than Windows. Even a first-time
computer user can be up and running (and
comfortable) in less than an hour.

"Oh, stop... I'm blushing!" There's also a poll being conducted at the site -- the question being: "Would you consider buying a Mac for your next computer?"

Of the over 3,000 votes cast so far, nearly 80% said "yes" to either a G3, or one of those pemmican-free iMacs.

Faster than a speeding Pentium, the G3 can be
custom-built to your specifications by Apple's own
Internet store.

Wow! Considering CNN's historical attitude towards Macintosh (and Apple in general), this comes as a big surprise.

PS. I just noticed that the word "Pentium" was flagged by SI as a possible misspelling, but "pemmican" is in their word database.
