Yup! Another cause celebre! The photomasks companies are really in some warped ways hybrids between the equip makers and the semis - meaning I think that they don't send a multi-million piece of equipment (like the typical semi-equips) and don't make chips (like the semis) - instead they are somewhere in the middle... <g> more dependent on chip designs (which places them in a different category from the front-end which is typically associated with capacity expansions and the back-end which is typically associated with unit demand - masks are dependent on new designs which in some warped sense are neither here nor there - not front-end or back-end certainly - they are the boys and girls somewhere in the middle... - kinda like Mrs. Doubtfire <ggg> ) There clear as mud... (and that's recoiling backward at 15 not 15 before 17 - different things <g>) Shane.
