Talisman Comments

I do differ with your comment about Talisman's timing of the Arakis acquisition. Sudan is definitely high risk, but an addition of 30,000 bbl's/d for Talisman 12 to 15 months down the road is very encouraging. By any standards, they bought in cheap.

Timing can be great in relation to oil price trend at that time also.

I don't consider Indonesia a problem as to political instability.

There have been a great number of international majors operating sucessfuly in Indonesia over several decades. The country is also in a situation to see that these companies are successful there.
