Briefing.com on 3COM: When the rumor mill starts spinning, speculators seize every opportunity to lift stock prices... Which is why Intel announcement that it has started shipping samples of its single-chip home networking solution was spark enough to reignite rumor that chip maker is ready to make an acquisition in the networking arena -- namely 3Com (COMS +2 7/8)..
