The problem with Creative Labs is that as a foreign company, there do not appear to be any SEC filings available. Ergo, I have no idea what percentage of their business is OEM. I wish I knew.
I do know for a fact that, everywhere you go -- be it an office Depot, Staples, the good guys, CompUSA, the local "white box" shop, Fry's etc. -- they are selling Creative Labs' DXR2 DVD upgrade kit.
Also, Creative Labs' new sound board product -- Sound Blaster live! -- seems to be selling like hot cakes.
If you're interested, let's collaborate on digging up some more dirt on this company. Man, I don't even know when their next quarterlies are due.
