I believe that Mr. Race got a sizable bonus for "negotiating" the Hasbro merger . . . something the other 60 people who actually did useful work won't be getting. With the reverse split, Mr. Race was able to significantly decrease the selling price for the prospective buyer as well. All in all a job well done. Even though I have been investing for years and come out ahead much more often than I lose, I am always amazed at the corruption, for want of a better term, of upper management packages in the US. The man's performance is clearly pathetic. He gets top dollar salary while he's there and a bonus for dragging the place down, selling it off, costing some of his staff their jobs, and shafting the shareholders. A learning experience I guess.
