Hello George!

Many of the people who monitor Russia, in particular since the crash of the Ruble, claim that there is little left in the cupboard to sell.
They were referring to all precious minerals, gold, silver and the like. Diamonds were not mentioned but I can only assume that any big stockpile has been steadily depleted over the years in an effort to get their hands on hard currency.
