Extremely wise words! I told a friend last night that if the market does not follow through after the strong close yesterday, then a lot of pro's would be confused about playing the market.

Most everyone expected a rise to near 8300 this week after the strong end of day rally yesterday. Trader's were very positive at the close. Now the pro's will become even more cautious.

PS-- FWIW, if you didn;'t know Oppenheimer downgraded and cast a cloud over the oil stocks yesterday, saying that domestic crude oil prices would actually decline by about a dollar over the next year. Rallies may come in oil only if they are beaten down again substantially.

Yes, careful risk management is very wise.
