Columbine JDS getting ready for end to end solutions(with DIVI encoders)
Denver, CO -- September, 1998 -- Columbine JDS today announced that it has appointed Joseph French as Director of its new Engineering Solutions business unit, which will be responsible for all CJDS products in the broadcast engineering marketplace.
The Engineering Solutions business unit has been formed to address changing needs in the industry brought about by the advent of digital television and the continuing trend toward large media groups, both of which require a greater degree of automation and more integrated end-to-end solutions. Products to be included under the Engineering Solutions umbrella will include CJDS' Transmission Manager for controlling the digital transmission process, as well as the company's market-leading MCAS master control automation product line and other products that bridge CJDS' traffic solutions into the automation and digital transmission market.
