However, the insubordination was based on a private sexual relationship that never should have been investigated in the first place, so disobeying was okay. After all, it's not like she disobeyed an important order, something actually related to doing her job, right? We should just forget about and go on, let her do her job!

Okay, I'm being a little sarcastic - it's early. I am not questioning the actions taken against the female officer - discipline in the military has to be absolute or the military couldn't function. It's just extremely annoying to hear these arguments used to protect Clinton, when, although he is technically a civilian, he is the head of the armed forces. His actions could destroy that discipline as well as the overall morale of the military. This has nothing to do with the impeachment issue - it only points out again the complete recklessness of his actions.
