NEW SKY COMMUNICATIONS, INC. ENTERS INTO FINANCING AND DISTRIBUTION OPTION AGREEMENT WITH WINCHESTER ENTERTAINMENT, PLC FOR "FACE FACTS"
ROCHESTER, NY--Thursday, September 17, 1998--NEW SKY COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (OTC:BB:NSKY) announced today, with its producing partner, Owasco Entertainment, an agreement with Winchester Entertainment, PLC granting an option to Winchester to obtain financing for and worldwide distribution of the feature film produced by New Sky and Owasco entitled "FACE FACTS".
"FACE FACTS' is a comedy about the problems faced by a middle-aged woman re-entering the workplace after her divorce. The screenplay was written by Lynne Adams, based on her successful one-woman stage play.
Winchester Entertainment, PLC is a publicly-traded British film sales and distribution company that has financed the recent feature film "SHOOTING FISH', distributed by Fox Searchlight.
Carl R. Reynolds, president of New Sky, stated, "We are excited to be working with Winchester Entertainment to seek financing and distribute "FACE FACTS'. Winchester is a new and aggressive player in the international film market and we are fortunate to form an alliance with them."
New Sky Communications, Inc. is a feature film production company. It has previously produced "LADY IN WHITE", which is currently in release and co-produced, with Owasco, the film "FREAK TALKS ABOUT SEX", which is nearing completion of post-production.
