There is no competition through the fill pipe at any price. I did find a device for home heating oil tanks yesterday at a cost of around $190. I doubt that it is near as accurate and it has to be attached to the outside of the above ground tank. So essentially it is not much competition because it costs twice as much, and it won't work on underground tanks. USTs that have monitoring devices installed by other companies at gas stations require a very expensive retrofit, unless the sensors are installed at the time that a new tank is placed. I think they will confirm my information. Have a great lunch.
