In the context of my continuing fears of global financial meltdown, I more than doubled up my holdings of QC yesterday. Variety of reasons to with my sense of more potential upside for QC as per Gregg Power's last post and the fact that I'm heading overseas where I won't be on top of what's happening in the market for up to 3 weeks. (Plus I figured Maurices's newly rational, newly restrained exuberance had to be a sign that the world was getting its feet back on terra firma.) I'm feeling rather dumb for another reason. I just realized I missed the date of record for the spin-off - Sept 11th, and will therefore receive less than half the number of shares in LWIN? than I would have if I'd bought 5 days before? How stupid should I feel about this? Informational input would be very much appreciated.
