Dear OMB: OMS is sorry to hear about the wife and her heart ordeal. I was in the hospital about 5 weeks with heart attack but chose not to have angioplasty. Had to put up a hard struggle with doctors but I have faced transition before and though I will miss the friends of this life and my family I am not going to try to go ainst what I have created and nature is repaying. This old duffer is 74 and do not care to exist causing a burden for others. Remember they pulled the machines keeping me alive after a 3 month coma? That was over 13 years ago. If I pass on while typing this it will not disturb me unless I have extreme pain in dying. I have no fear of death. There is no heaven or hell as destinations. Just a changing of the guard as it were. We missed your poetry. Wish I could meet the two of you and maybe will the next time around. OMB I believe you are my kind of people. We just have different levels of religion. My best to your wife in her recovery. The women get credit for making us what we are.
