Also, my experience (at Dell) was the essbase stuff (just the generic term we used for all the analytical apps) was generated, funded etc by the specific dept on an dept level server. There was no connection to the IT area where the enterprise systems were running the ERPs. So, my point is, Oracle gets less leverage in this market. Id like to see the msft offering though.
