I agree.

<<implement Impeachment Proceedings, Censure, or neither depending on the feedback they receive from their constituents >>

Maybe. There has been a fair amount of talk about "doint the right thing" even if the opinion polls point to a different feeling among the public. The Congresspeople may feel that it is better to protect the integrity of the country and possibly lose their jobs, than to participate in its moral destruction. By the way, those are words I heard coming from a Congressman, not mine. This appears to be a no win situation for Congress, so they may decide to go by way of the high-moral road, and try to use that to their advantage during election time - "Even though I know you didn't agree, I voted my conscience. I stand for morality in America - I did it for the children!!"

<<As far as the whole ordeal being the fault of the American people>>

Perhaps worded badly on my part. I mean that we were enablers. By re-electing Clinton and giving him such overwhelming support, it must make it look to him as if he can do anything. It isn't the Republicans or Starr that gave him that idea, but it was us.

<<Impeachment along with investigation will become new political tools>>

Not going to happen - the backlash is already so severe that it is far more likely that this tool will be used less, not more.

<<an election it should only be reversed in the case of treason, murder or something equally as serious>>

We agree, at least in concept. The actual definition of "serious" may be disputed. I make no comment regarding the current situation, because I don't think we have enough information.
