You may argue against other's opinions, it is your right to do so within a PUBLIC forum. It is, after all, the same freedom exercised by the individual who expressed the opinion in the first place. You don't have the right to defame, discredit or dismiss those people who don't share your beliefs. And you tend to do that quite frequently. For every "It's Time", I simply offer the "not until 1999". One of these "opinions" will be proven right. It may not be what you want to hear, but I have the right to express my view. I've stopped by the HDIE thread quite a bit, just to read what all the fuss is about. Seems as though you're the opinion officer of that thread as well...
