Perhaps Hyde's background should be looked into a little closer. If he has not had other affairs as he now has claimed, he should not object.

If he lied and deceived the public into believing that this was his only indiscretion, he must think twice about
leading the Judicial Committee.

His reaction of accusing the White House of a smear
campaign is the reaction of an angry, hostile man who could not fairly and impartially conduct the hearing.
