Alan, as a newbie options index trader, why would someone buy
500 contracts @5/8 on the spx sept. 990 puts. This trade occurred at 4:06pm today. With the spx closing appx 1019, even if we go lock
limit tonight, isn't the best market close tomorrow at 992? What
am I missing? Probably obvious but I don't see it.
