I saw that happen as well. Even with tick falling in the last few minutes and dow going nowhere but down, spx index was being "moved"up.
Looks like lisa's manipulation technique by mm's are still out there.
They look to protect their downside risk from put options expiring in the money. spx was overweighted with puts this month, so it makes
sense to try to limit liability if lock limit occurs overnight.

I could be wrong about this, but not likely.
