John, In 20/20 hindsight, TXN found value in AMTX and it is obvious that AMTX needed more marketing muscle to get their shouts above the general ADSL noise level. I don't think AMTX would be 1 today, because general deployment hasn't started in earnest, and AMTX was burning cash like crazy. It was a better short than a long. Regardless, AMTX went for 20, and I was glad to get that, as I look back over this last year. I think what's driving this move is pure speculation on a takeover. IMHO.
