Bargains..among smaller 'market gems'..
There were some interesting companies that bucked the trend today. Most of them we have on our list like CS,FGII, ADPT, DRI, CKSG,FP, FDO,EFII, CPU,ITWO and DLIA. All were strong today.. Some new ones like ALRC, HTCH, MT and more. RMII and KOF tried hard and finished near their highs of the day.

The next group I like are NSCP, ODP (newly upgraded), INTV. NSCP was a bargain today between 21 1/2-22.. If it trades down more tomorrow, I'd pick it up for a week or two.

From the internets, we have a leaner, AMZN,CMGI,YHOO...MSPG, ELNK,LCOS..

VTSS, a long time favorite was hurt today. could be an opportunity there as well.

In other words, we will probably have a rerun of the last few weeks before the 4-day rally. We could have some 10% plus gains in the oil services or in any number of low-priced stocks. Whatever you do, don't lose sight of the fact that things are never static. Don't get complacent. Always be cognizant that things can turn around abruptly. Don't start building up a portfolio because stocks look cheap, they can get even cheaper. Buy a few at a time and hold until the trend changes, if that means you are turning into a position or swing trader, then so be it.

The worst thing is to get stuck with a portfolio full of falling stocks or options. Waiting for them to rebound can be azonizing, especially watching everyone else buying those very stocks you own at bargain prices. I've been there in 1997.. so I'm talking from experience.
