Ken, you might ask the broker's margin dept. how much 'maintenance' or 'buying power' you are using up with this position. maybe if you are lucky they aren't using much buying power up with it, in which case you could just leave the position open.

The opportunity cost of not being able to use the buying power for some other purpose, like shorting something or borrowing cash from the broker, is probably the only cost of leaving this position open.
