To anybody that might have some insight, Does anyone know if the La Nina (the opposite of an El Nino) is supposed to "forebode" a colder than normal winter in middle and northeast North America? I heard innuendo to that effect, but I've not seen any recognized authorities making that kind of prediction. KJC
