to all: I don't think it is so far fetched to imagine that warren buffett might buy Dell computer. In fact there has been some discussion to that effect on the Motley Fool Berkshire thread. I think Dell meets almost all of Buffett;s criteria except for being undervalued. I think he is aware of the business model and might regard this stock as the most understandable of the tech stocks. the only thing that might prevent him from a buy is that he cannot envision where Dell and the computer industry would be 15 to 20 years from now. He adopts a very long time frame in calculating intrinsic value. For the record I own Berkshire and Dell, 90% of my portfolio.
By the way, BRKB is a screaming buy just now at 1950 or so down from 2800. Its marked down 30%
