I believe Lucent did exactly that today...they reaffirmed that they were on target and that they had no surprises and the sell off was all market related etc.. Nortel, being hit even harder does nothing but then again Lucent needs its stock to remain high for the next month or two so they can use it when they acquire Asnd, Tellabs etc... George ps my condolences on your paper loss
