X:
To add another note to this song: MYGN has Cardia Risk, a test that identifies people with a gene variant that makes them sensitive to salt, and prone to heart disease, kidney failure, and stroke.
I've read somewhere that about 80% of people on salt-free diets, due to hypertension or heart problems, don't really have to adhere to such a diet. Seems to me, if I were on that diet, I'd want to have the test run, so I'd have a better idea if the diet was needed. Don't know if it's being marketed that way, though. MYGN is generally considered to be a gene identification company, but they're moving into different areas...hasn't helped the stock price, it's way down, just like all the rest of that group...well excluding PKN and INCY, that is. (I don't own any MYGN, although I have traded it.)
