Hug hug, Tom, Dennis, what is your read on today's action? I finished my charts and they don't show today was the expected change in direction. No confirming volume, too fast a recovery in many of them and what the heck was with the 100K block buy on MU that spiked it up!!! MU was on my short list, good thing I didn't pull the trigger already on it.

I think there is the strong possibility that we could go back up tomorrow for a while at least. Was this some probing around by the big money to see how they could move things around for expiry? The trades didn't look like a regular sell off and my indicator is still saying the downturn will be 21-24 Sept depending on what stock it is. My index indicator also showed that this 200 point DOW move wasn't proportional to a downside target of 7600 but that it would be down more before it was finished. Now I am totally confused as I have been building my prior theory for the last few weeks. I am too old to keep learning new tricks <ggg>.

I sold my IBM puts for a quick gain then put in a limit order to get them back cheaper. I think we are going to have a wild time in the town tomorrow. I expect to see some big swings and am envious of those that will be able to trade it. I wonder if I could call in sick for work and stay home? sniff, cough <g>
