As far as the "Best In Class" thing goes I'll tell you a story. All this "Best in Class" stuff reminds me of weeding through the proposals for new financial and patient mgmt systems at work. Before starting we designed a process to select the best system based on the experience of some other organizations, as well as some consultants. One of the things that came up was "awards" that companies had to show for their system, and what weight we should give them. The unanimous conclusion others gave from their experiences was that we should write off a system that has no awards, because it is really lousy or really new, but don't put any stock in them other than that. There are enough industry awards around that just about anyone can earn one someplace. BF
