Margin vs. No Margin

You have to pay 100% (no margin) for Westell 4 1/32, while you can purchase Pairgain with 50% margin for 9 3/16. So the same amount of money will buy you control of roughly the same number of shares of either stock.

Actually, I think that Pairgain is a steal at 9 3/16 and is a much better value than Westell. Just hope that it doesn't open too high. Although I have been burned so often from "buying on the open" that I have a rule about not "buying on the open".
