First of all, there are NEVER foolish questions, ONLY foolish
answers, and here goes one.
I think it is a flight to quality, a DEFENSIVE and CLASSIC widows and orhpans stock, when they stop paying divedends, that means
we all are in trouble, "turn out LIGHTS, the partys over".
I hope not.. I don't think it is a going to be a leading indicator
for an overall market advance.. investors don't know what to do..
We are in a earnings driven stage.. Look at Alcatel, Nokia, Erickson
today.. Good companie taking a hit on warnings or earnings... Although
we have destroyed some wealth the last couple of months, the markets
are awash in liquidity.. Look at Warren Buffet, not to be confused with one of my favorites.. Jimmey Buffaaaaay..
Anyway, we are mostly in cash watching, waiting, and trying to hit
the futures..
