Re fund flows, is that a qtrly tax payment effect on the money markets? Anyway, a four day rally with no new money coming in and a 4 week avg outflow of $2.1 billion per. Is that what they call "distribution"?

I wonder what Maria B. will say about the fund flows tomorrow.

PS: I think it was here that I was talking about corporate debt credit risk spreads, bank lending and the coming recession. Saw repeated reports (and I think G-span even talked about it) about bank regulators criticizing banks for lax credit standards. Toss in the huge losses the banks are reporting and guess what - CREDIT CRUNCH! The Fed can cut rates all they want, but if regulators are telling banks to be more stringent in their credit standards and the banks are taking huge hits - it matters not from where - then soon they won't be granting new credit to much of anyone. Recession anyone? Dow 6500 here we come, and that may be overly bullish. BWDIK?
