Networks North Inc. Announces New Advertisers On the NTN Entertainment Network

Budweiser to be Exclusive Sponsor of QB1 in Canada

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 1998--Networks North Inc. (NASDAQ:NETN - news) is pleased to announce that through its subsidiary NTN Interactive Network Inc. it has successfully concluded agreements with a wide range of new first-time advertisers on its NTN Entertainment Network.

NTN Interactive Network Inc. has broadened its range of services to network advertising customers. For example, with Brita, the advertising package included market research and polling for the client. For AMJ Campbell, NTN was able to provide an opportunity to sponsor the network's Olympic Trivia Challenge to leverage AMJ's relationship with the Canadian Olympic Association (COA). Armor All's package includes a promotional contest on NTN's prime time program ''Sports IQ'', and Budweiser will be the exclusive sponsor of QB1, NTN's flagship product, offering over $50,000 in prizes. Cross promotions are another approach, as NTN will have a ''live site'' at Toronto's Canadian National Exhibition. This is a cross-promotion between Exhibition Place, Q107, and Molson Canadian Rocks.

For Networks North, these partnerships demonstrate the growing demand for the different approach to advertising sales and techniques available on its NTN Entertainment Network.
