Beats me! They've had a low PE for sometime now.
SPSS is in a very competitive market in which SAP
has strong ambitions [data mining] as an adjunct
to its growing strangle hold on the market for
accounting systems used by large corporations.

SAP is shaping up to be the "Microsoft" of large
company accounting systems and data mining.

Maybe investors are skeptical of SPSS' ability
to grow sales and profits in the future.
