impossible to maintain 30+% net margin when the big boys like INTC, NT, COMS, and LU will happily sell with only 15% net; they don't need to have 30+ margin as thier business model and stock prices already reflect 10% margin; hardware cost is insinificance compared to development/mkt and sales cost, no volume buying for these.

In the low end, csco did not do a thing, ever checked comp usa, micro center stores, low end switches are selling a dime a dozen; intense competition is the point; csco does not even have any presence in the low end, any switches by csco in those stores

NT and Alcatel have soft sales in asia and even europe, csco will have these problems also; a small warning from csco like alcatel will cut the price in half within one day-
