That is a pretty good analogy!

Realizing there is manipulation, helps one stay on his toes. Learn to look for the signs and it helps to ID intent ahead of time.

Heck, every wonder how all the indices pop and run in a direction at the exact same time? I guess if there is no manipulation, that would mean, that all us investors decide to do the same thing at the same time on a regular intraday basis! You know, turn like a school of fish!

Gee, all you have to do is read this thread to realize that could never be!
