Victor, Brasilian insurrectos have upped the ante with their recent bombing of an Argentine power distribution line.

Brasilian rebels are now operating in Argentina as well as Brasil. Buenos Aires is fairly miffed, and wants Brasil to at least confine the rebel activity to Brasil. Brasilian security forces are, however, operating under reduced gov't funding and already oppose another insurgency in the North of the country.

I was afraid of this. They really know when to make their moves.

Peru's Shining Path have also been heard from,...again. The guerillas captured a village in the Amazonian region and disposed of its mayor.

Boy, oh boy. If it's not one thing, it's another.

None of this will deter me in the slightest from taking another handful of Argentine shares should a panic evolve from this triple-witch of a Friday.

Cool logic, Victor -- waiting for word on a resuce package. I like it.
