It is a step procedure. If a TRO was issued, it has provided a quick and immediate avenue to stop people from doing certain things. The TRO stops their actions immediately. This order means that AZNT would have shown they are likely to win a preliminary injunction which is the next step, which per the post is scheduled on 9/30/98 at 1 pm.
The preliminary injunction phase can go to a permanent injunction phase, but this phase does not necessarily occur every time.
Does that answer your question?
An important consideration regarding the 480,000 borrowed shares, what is the total inventory on hand of other mm's? Professional courtesies do exist. Squeezer's may want to keep this in mind.
Immediate does mean immediately, but there can be two definitions. The one we are accustomed to, and one leading up to but before the preliminary injunction hearing. That is a legal game, but could explain why we have not seen more activity. Get the answers to this and the inventory and everyone will know the whole story regarding the squeeze.
bmart posts with authority that it is fact immediate now means until September 30th. Until one has a copy of the judges ruling in hand, or a copy of the wording is provided, the term immediate should probably not be considered valid until the 30th, but instead as it means, NOW.
bmart, who advised you about the 30th as covering the immediate time range?
