Hi Wendy,

I am not very knowledgeable about bonds, but it seems to me the real danger in any of these companies going outside the country is the exchange rate. If the Canadian dollar weakens, the cost of the debt can increase significantly. Sounds like they have raised the cost of any future financing in Canada at the same time.

However, those are longer term effects on earnings.

PS - Keeping an eye on Nortel for an entry point on a quick trade. It is getting very oversold at this point.
